In 2020, an Instagram post changed my life…
Opening up about my eating disorder, I built a community of 3,000 people in just one month. That’s when I truly realised the power of storytelling and content that connects. Social media has the power to do good—to reach people with the same fears and dreams, to make connections that span continents.
My love for creating grew, and I began working with brands to develop their social media strategies, eventually founding Marketing By G in 2022.
Over the last four years, I’ve worked with some of the largest companies in the world, as well as incredible small businesses. I’ve been involved in every part of the process—from top-line strategy to briefing, filming, and editing short-form content. If there’s one thing I know, it’s content!
What I’ve learned is that no matter the size of the brand, the content challenges are surprisingly similar.
As founders, we often lose touch with our original passion—the why that inspired us to start in the first place. In an effort to scale or remove ourselves from the day-to-day, we can disconnect from the very story that made our brand meaningful.
And when we disconnect, so do our audiences.
I’ve been there. I understand that feeling.
But here’s the thing: we can get back to that spark. We can feel the excitement of sharing your story with the world again.
We can return to the moment when you first told your friends and family about your business launch, that moment when your passion was pure and unstoppable.
Together, we can reconnect your brand to your story - and show the world the impact your products, services, and expertise can have on the people who need them most.
